For a long time, the planting, harvesting and processing of peanut were mostly completed by manual work. The development of peanut harvester in China is late, the mechanization level of peanut harvesting affected the development of the peanut production seriously. In order to prove the efficiency of peanut harvesting, we need to design a effective and simple peanut harvester, which a machine that can dig, shake off the soil and lay the peanut stalk at the same time for the countryside where the scale of peanut planting is small. The harvester designed in this subject matches with small tractors, it needs to realize the functions of digging, shaking, laying and so on. The design content of peanut harvester is the designing of the major parts of the machine, such as digging shovel, shaking screen, so as the gearing and frame parts.
