Cultural Differences in English Teaching Abstract: It has long been recognized that language is an essential and important part of a given culture and that the impact of culture upon a given language is something intrinsic and indispensable .Culture is the development of human material and spiritual civilization. Language and culture is closely related, each influencing and shaping the other. To learn a foreign language implies to learn the culture in which it is spoken Also culture is learned through language. In recent years many English teachers have realized the importance of the culture difference in their teaching practice. They have made some useful studies and researches on English teaching and intercultural communication. We connect the culture differences with English teaching in English teaching practices so as to improve the teaching quality. In this way, students can widen their knowledge and thus learn English well.
