The safety of Antarctic krill was also st udied preliminarily. The result s showed t hat t he content s of crude protein , crude fat , crude ash and nit rogen2f ree ext ract (N FE) of t he dry krill flesh were 641 44 % ,51 14 % ,101 90 % and 19152 % ,respectively. 18 common amino acids were found in t he flesh , including 8 amino acids t hat are essential for human body. In dry samples , t he total content of amino acids was 57116 % , and 251 88 % for essential amino acids ; t herefore , t he percentage of essential amino acids in total amino acids was 45128 % ,
