Emotion, attitude and values Learning to understand the importance of choosing a proper job (2)教学重点 Let the students learn to read with strategies (3)教学难点 How to improve students skill of reading and master more vocabulary. (4)教学建议 Individual and group work to help them improve their ability in reading. 新课导??设计 Sample1 To arouse Ss’ interest in learning about this module and enable them to realize the important of jobs. Show a lot of pictures about jobs and ask Ss what the people are doing and what their jobs are. Sample 2 Before class Teacher Ask Ss to imagine what jobs would be the most popular ones in the future and what jobs they would attend after graduation from college. If possible, they can prepare several pictures or other information to show before the whole class. Encourage students to give more answers to the question “What will be the best growing jobs?” and share their opinions with the others. Teacher should write each kind of job and write down the reason and the number behind each job. Then talk about the most popular jobs and ask “What are growing and decreasing jobs?”
