①动名词用来说明用途,和被修饰的名词在逻 辑上无主谓关系,不可以扩为定语从句。
②动名词作定语只能放在被修饰的名词的前面。
如:
There was only one fishing boat on the river.
(a fishing boat=a boat used for fishing)
