Unit 3 What would you like? Part B Read and write. Teaching Analysis The text that students will study is from the English book of Grade 5, this lesson is the fifth part of unit 3, it focuses on students’ reading and writing abilities. The teacher will help students improve their ability by skimming , detailed reading and also guessing meanings of new words. As for its content, the topic of this lesson is Robin will cook today, the topic is so interesting that every student can get invovled to share their experiences, so the teacher leads students to write step by step according to the food they like and don’t like. Teaching Objectives ⅠKnowledge Objectives: 1 students can understand the two notes by pictures. 2 Students are able to understand and use the sentence: My favorite food is_____. It is_____. I like _____ but not______. Ⅱ Ability Objectives: 1 Improve the reading ability by skimming and detailed reading. 2 students can write and introduce some simple informations about the food they like and don’t like . 3 students know how to write letters. Ⅲ Affective Objectives: Students will have fun getting informations by reading. Students will know something about healthy eating. Healthy eating, Healthy life.
