Abstract The realization of agricultural mechanization is the inevitable request for constructing new socialist countryside and realizing agricul- tural modernization． At present，the agricultural mechanization development has obtained certain result and rice mechanization process has ob- tained quick development in China? however，there are still main problems about mechanized production of rice，including agricultural ma- chinery，the combination of agronomy with agricultural machinery and socialized service for agricultural machinery． Therefore，it put forward the corresponding countermeasures，namely，perfecting cultivated land ownership mechanism，promoting the combination of agronomy with ag- ricultural machinery，perfecting agricultural machinery technology，improving service level of agricultural machinery． Finally，based on the development of agricultural machinery in the“Eleventh Five-Year Plan”period，the rapid developing of agricultural mechanized production of rice in the“Twelfth Five-Year Plan”period was prospected． Key words Rice?
