Sample1
Ask the Ss to read the passage on page 33 and think about the questions.
Ask every two Ss to discuss the questions.
Ask all the Ss to do it and then ask three or four Ss to answer the question.
Do you think good friends should never quarrel? Why or why not?
Sample 2
Review the following sentence appearing in the text “Roy’s story” :
Having lost all my old friend, I felt shy and lonely at my new school.
Then let students rewrite the sentence as following:
When I lost all my old friend, …
Then get students create similar sentences as that above, and rewrite them again:

Module 3 Period 1
Introduction
Step 1. In this part, the teacher can let the Ss answer the following two questions in order to introduce the new module.
What do you think of friendship?
How can you make good friends?
Ask every student to choose the statements they agree on.
Step 2. Ask the Ss to learn the new words in the following ways. Here take chat and relationship for example.
