Methods 40 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients with rehabilitation treatment, observation and treatment after 6 months body weight, BMI, FVC, FEV1% change situation; follow-up 1 year, statistical treatment 1 year before and after treatment within 1 year of hospitalization and medical expenses. Results After treatment, patients with body weight, FVC, FEV1% increased significantly after treatment, 1 year hospital stay was shorter, costs were significantly reduced ( P lt;0.05 or lt;0.01). Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease rehabilitation economically less investment, and can achieve more satisfactory results; is delaying the development of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, improve quality of life and reduce the burden of a family and society kinds of effective methods. Methods 40 cases stable patients with COPD were treated with Rehabilitation and the changes of their weights, BMI, FVC, FEV1% after 6 months’ treatment were observed. Over one year follow up, the times and costs in hospital a year before and a year after the treatment were counted.Results After the treatment, there were significant difference in their weights, BMI, FVC, FEV1%, PaCO2, SaO2 and the times and costs in hospital in patients with COPD who accept the treatment (P lt;0.05 or lt;0.01). Conclusion The rehabilitation is important in stable patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and can improve patient `life quality
