 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 3 Adhesion molecule integrin α5 β1 in gallbladder carcinoma and its clinical significance 【Abstract】 Objective To study the adhesion molecule integrin α5β1 expression in gallbladder carcinoma and its relationship with gallbladder carcinoma differentiation, invasion, metastasis and prognosis. Methods The immunohistochemical method in 57 cases of gallbladder adenocarcinoma in paraffin-embedded specimens were semi-quantitative detection of integrin α5β1. Resulted in 41 cases (71.9%), gallbladder adenocarcinoma and expression of integrin α5β1 weakening or disappearance of well-differentiated cancer, the positive rate of integrin α5 β1 was significantly higher than poorly differentiated carcinoma (P lt;0.05). Integrin α5β1-positive rate of gallbladder carcinoma with lymph node metastasis group than in lymph node-negative group (P lt;0.05). Expression of integrin α5β1 positive 2-year survival rate (32.5%) was significantly higher than that in negative group (11.3%, P lt;0.05). Conclusion integrin α5β1 expression and tumor cell differentiation, lymph node metastasis was negatively related to integrin α5β1 expression and patient prognosis could be used as biological indicators of prognosis in patients with gallbladder carcinoma.
