Methods 17 patients by pathology or biopsy confirmed chondroblastoma imaging information, review their X-ray, CT and MRI. Results humerus in 5 cases, 9 cases of femur, tibia in 3 cases, the lesions were round lobulated bone destruction zone, some showed swelling, eccentric growth, often calcified lesions, can be seen around the hardened zone, part of the cortical bone fracture, a small number of soft tissue mass, periosteal reaction. MR T1WI low signal-based, T2WI on the mixed signals, enhanced MRI showed heterogeneous or more homogeneous enhancement, bone marrow edema, periosteal reaction and soft tissue swelling can be strengthened. Conclusion chondroblastoma Imaging more characteristic, combined with X-ray, CT and MRI can make the correct diagnosis. Methods The X-ray, CT and MRI findings of 17 cases with chondroblastomas proved by pathology were analyzed. Results The lesion was located in humerus (n = 5), femur (n = 9), tibia (n = 3). The chondroblastomas were presented with lobular-and-oval bony destruction in bone with peripheral sclerosis and sclerotic border, interrupted cortex and soft-mass . Periosteal reaction was seen in a few cases.The chondroblastomas were hypointensity on T1WI, heterogenous intensity on T2WI. The lesions had asymmetric or relative homogeneous enhancement, and there were enhancement in areas of edema within bone marrow and adjacent soft tissue and periosteal reaction. Conclusion Chondroblastoma has characateristic imaging features.The correct diagnosis can be made with MRI in combination with X-ray and CT. [Keywords:] bone neop
