Methods Retrospective analysis of 63 cases of clinical data of patients with pulmonary contusion. Results The group of 63 cases of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) 3 cases, 3 died. In our hospital from 2005 to 2006 a total of 63 patients treated pulmonary contusion, are summarized below. A clinical data 1.1 General information on this group a total of 63 patients, 48 male and 15 female; aged 19 to 88 years old, with an average 48.1 years of age. 1.2 History of the clinical performance of the chest injuries, have chest pain. Chest tightness, shortness of breath 48 cases, 21 cases of hypoxemia, cough, bloody sputum of 35 cases; 42 cases of unilateral pulmonary contusion, bilateral pulmonary contusion in 21 cases; combined traumatic brain injury, 8 cases with rib fractures in 59 cases, combined blood gas chest in 25 cases, combined liver and (or) rupture of spleen in 18 cases, combined with diaphragmatic rupture in 3 cases, combined small intestine rupture in 4 cases, combined 14 cases of fracture of the pelvis or limbs. 1.3 imaging studies were performed in this group X line and the CT examination, X-ray diagnosis of pulmonary contusion in 48 cases, for 76.2%, CT diagnosis of pulmonary contusion in 63 cases, to 100%.
