PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 4 Enhanced 16-slice spiral CT scan diagnosis of mediastinal lymph node nuclear Author: Li Wen Bai Hong-zhong WANG Xin-ju Chi Chun-Yu Wen-Hsiu Wang CT in the diagnosis of mediastinal disease, has been obvious to all, with the constant renewal of CT equipment, and technology development, especially the birth of multi-slice spiral CT imaging allows diagnosis of mediastinal disease on board a new height, its continuous cross-section images constitute a three-dimensional space, so that the structure and lesion location within the mediastinum at a glance, CT with high spatial resolution thin images, in order to provide a characterization of lymph node disease diagnosis. In particular, enhanced scan for the diagnosis of mediastinal disease is particularly important. In this paper, the nuclear scan of mediastinal lymph nodes and enhanced the standard thin-slice CT images and the comparison of the amount of information to explain 16-slice spiral CT in the diagnosis of mediastinal lymph nodes in the nuclear role of mediastinal lymph nodes and thus improve the understanding of the performance of nuclear imaging. 1 Data and methods 1.1 General Information Collected during the period 2005-2008 in our hospital diagnosed 44 cases of mediastinal lymph node TB cases, male 21, female 23 cases, aged 2-73 years, mean age of 25.75 ± 6.53 years, with a median age of 21.50 years. Were confirmed by pathology or follow-up of anti-tuberculosis treatment for more than 1 year, significantly reduced lymph node lesions or calcification as a standard. 1.2 Methods 1.2.1 Scanning Method Using the GE Light Speed 16-slice spiral CT. All patients received conventional unenhanced and enhanced scans, scan conditions: 120 kv, 160mAs, collimator width of 16 * 1.25 mm, pitch 1.375:1, respectively, two sets of data reconstruction: Ⅰ group of conventional 10mm thick, 10mm spacing reconstruction methods for soft tissue reconstruction of the standard; Ⅱ group 1.25mm thick,
