Methods 313 women screened for cervical lesions, of which 187 cases of cervical cancer screening for the community (control group), 126 patients had been menopausal for outpatient gynecological clinic patients (study group). Results The study group and control group at high risk human papillomavirus (HPV)-positive rate was 43.85%, 41.27%, no significant difference between the two (Pgt; 0.05); but both the positive rate of HPV cervical lesions increases with the increased (P lt;0.05); study group and control group the detection rate of abnormal cervical cells were 51.34%, 49.21%, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) were 22.46%, 19.05%, no significant difference between the two ( Pgt; 0.05); study group the incidence of CIN level was significantly higher (P lt;0.05). Concluded that early detection of cervical lesions, progression to curb cervical cancer, in postmenopausal women with cervical cytology screening is necessary.
