Methods: from January 2006 to December 2007 stay at the ICU patients were retrospectively analyzed. Results : ICU patients treated 220 cases of nosocomial infection, infection rate was 18.90%; which parts of the lower respiratory tract infection the most, accounting for 66.36%; invasive procedures, the use of breathing machines accounted for 12.54% of infection, ICU nosocomial infection is the most dangerous factor. Conclusion: strengthening environmental management, reduce environmental pollution, to avoid cross-infection, strict hand-washing system, strict management and invasive procedures and the rational use of antibiotics and other methods, is the ICU nosocomial infection prevention and control of the effective methods.
