[Methods] 50 patients with type 2 diabetes were chosen at random, which received insulin augmentation therapy.And the values of blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin were examined in pre and post treatment groups. [Results] Fasting blood glucose level and postprandial blood sugar level in post treatment groups were significantly lower than theirs pre treatment groups.Glycosylated hemoglobin level was lower than theirs pre treatment groups after six months.
