1FC6 266071 1FC6 THYRI–PART AVR 1FC6 THYRI–PART THYRI–PART TM311 A 1003-4862(2012)12-0052-04 Analysis and Troubleshooting of 1FC6 Brushless Generator Excitation System Sun Hongying, Yu Fengwei (Qingdao Ocean Shipping Mariners College, Qingdao 266071, Shandong, China) Abstract: THYRI–PART generator excitation system used in 1FC6 brushless generator consists of phase-compound exciting unit and AVR. Both damage of the elements and improper adjustment of excitation system will result in fault of voltage regulation or reactive power distribution of generators while paralleling operation. The principle of 1FC6 brushl ess generator and THYRI–PART excitation system is analyzed in the paper. The frequent faults of excitation system are related, and taking the fault of generator voltage regulation of a ship as an example, the processes of check and troubleshooting are analyzed in the paper, which could be a reference for the people working in this area.
