Some of the topics covered include the theory of probability, discrete probability distributions, continuous probability distributions, estimate and sample sizes, hypothesis testing, interval estimation and inference from two samples.This is a calculus-based course. Knowledge of basic differential and integral calculus is assumed Course Text Book “Statistics for Business and Economics”, by David Anderson, Dennis Sweeney, Thomas Williams, Jeffrey Camm and James Cochran, Cengage Learning, 12th Edition.
