Here sensors are considered as nodes which have computing capability with some memory. Energy utilization in wireless network is the main consideration because one main constraint in these types of networks is limited source of energy. Therefore protocols designed for these networks should be energy efficient. Wireless networks are based on co-operative transmission technique. In general data can be transmitted directly between neighboring nodes. But if there are intermediate nodes between source and destination, co-operation among the nodes are required to transmit the data. In this paper, a new protocol called as energy efficient protocol is designed.
