INTRODUCTION Thisreportdescribesthepreliminaryphase of the mineral potential evaluation of Okanagan-the Similkameen-Boundary area in the southeast part of the Thompson-Okanaganregion of south-central British Columbia. This is part of a province-wide study initiated by the B.C. MinistryofEnergy,MinesandPetroleum Resources in May 1992 to provide accurate and credible information to landuse planning processes. The Okanagm-Similkameen-Boundary area ispart of a larger well-mineralized region of complex geology that has good potential for new mineral discoveries.
