Introduction. A positive sequence (bn) is said to be almost increasing if there existapositiveincreasingsequence(cn)andtwopositiveconstantsAandBsuchthat Acn ≤bn ≤Bcn (see [1]). Obviously, every increasing sequence is almost increasing. How
