Sampling across one previously-identified hybrid zone, and the identification of outlier loci between parentalracesallowedustoestablishthat,inadmixedpopulations,outlierlociwhichpotentiallypre-datetheisolationof populations of races on Kangaroo Island exhibit higher levels of linkage disequilibrium with each other than putatively neutralloci.Inturnthissuggeststhattheymightresidewithingenomicregionsoflowrecombination,orbecloselylinked witheachother.
