Methods:EightofninemicroscopypositiveP.falciparumsamplescollectedinIquitos,Perutestednegativeorweakpositive usingHRP2-detectingRDTs.Thesesamplesweretestedforthepresenceofpfhrp2andpfhrp3andtheirflankinggenesby PCR,aswellasthepresenceofHRPproteinsbyELISA.ToinvestigateforgeographicextentofHRP-deletedparasitesand theirtemporaloccurrencearetrospective
