BioFET-SIMWebInterface:ImplementationandTwo Applications MartinR.Hediger*,JanH.Jensen,LucaDeVico DepartmentofChemistry,UniversityofCopenhagen,Copenhagen,Denmark Abstract WepresentawebinterfacewhichallowsustoconvenientlysetupcalculationsbasedontheBioFET-SIMmodel.Withthe interface,thesignalofaBioFETsensorcanbecalculateddependingonitsparameters,aswellasthesignaldependenceon pH.Asanillustration,twocasestudiesarepresented.Inthefirstcase,agenericpeptidewithoppositechargesonbothends isinvertedinorientationonasemiconductingnanowiresurfaceleadingtoacorrespondingchangeinsignofthecomputed sensitivityofthedevice.Inthesecondcase,thebindingofanantibody/antigencomplexonthenanowiresurfaceisstudied intermsoforientationandanalyte/nanowiresurfacedistance.WedemonstratehowtheBioFET-SIMwebinterfacecanaidin theunderstandingofexperimentaldataandpostulatealternativewaysofantibody/antigenorientationonthenanowire surface.
