Methods:Weconductedaretrospectivecohortstudyin1108physicians(17.1%completedaMPHdegree)whohad10–20 yearsoffollow-uppostmedicalschoolgraduation.Multivariablelogisticregressionanalyseswereconducted. Results: Compared to their counterparts with no MPH, medical school graduates with a MPH were more likely to have completedageneralistprimarycareresidencyonly[relativerisk(RR)1.79,95%confidenceinterval(CI)1.35–2.29],obtain employmentinanacademicinstitution(RR1.81;95%CI1.33–2.37)orgovernmentagency(RR3.26;95%CI1.89–5.38),and practicepublichealth(RR39.84;95%CI12.13–107.38)orprimarycare
