Inapsychosomatictherapeuticinterventionthereareverydifferenttargets,suchaspsychologicalsymptoms, personalitytraits,attitudestowarddiseaseandlife,riskbehaviour,andsocialisolationandasbiologicaltargetsthe changeofautonomicimbalanceandoftheeffectsofthepsycho-endocrinologicalorpsycho-immunologicalstress responses.Andtherearealsodifferentpsychosomaticmeasuresthatinfluencetheindividualbiological, psychologicalandsociologicaltargets.Thereisaneedtogivedifferentanswertodifferentquestionsinthefieldof psychosomaticandbehavioralmedicine.Comparativeeffectivenessresearchisanimportantstrategyforsolving somemethodologicalissues.Whatisthetargetoftreatmentfordifferentdiseases:Symptomreduction,healing,or limitingprogressiontotheworstcase-thedeathofpatients.Weknowthat,thepatient-physicianrelationshipis importantforeverymedical/therapeuticactionforpatientswithchronicdiseases.
