It is the traditional Chinese medicinal materials in our country. Across the country are widely cultivated corn, advocate northern provinces, stigma of resource is very rich. This paper discusses the research status at home and abroad of stigma, the stigma of chemical composition and the pharmacological effects of flavonoids of stigma, introduces the stigma of the flavonoids extraction method, the extraction methods of main solvent method, microwave extraction, ultrasonic extraction, enzymatic extraction, and high pressure liquid extraction. This article USES the ultrasonic extraction method to extract the stigma of flavonoids, by single factor test and orthogonal test, the best extraction condition is: ethanol content is 40%, the ratio of material liquid 1:40 g/mL, ultrasonic temperature of 60oC and ultrasonic time for 5 min. And rutin as the standard solution, use ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry, draw the standard curve, the stigma of the content of total flavonoids was determined.
