Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. It’s my pleasure to be here and share my lesson plan with you. Today I’m going to talk about the topic“My new teachers”. Ill explain this lesson plan from eight parts:1). Analysis of the teaching material,2) something about the Ss,3) teaching aims,4) the important and difficult points 5)Teaching Methods ,6) the studying methods, 7) the teaching procedure. 8), blackboard design First, let me talk about the teaching material. Part 1 Teaching Material The content of my lesson is New Senior English for China Book One Module 2 This lesson is the reading and vocabulary part .The topic is “My new teachers”. This topic is quite close to students’ daily life. .By learning this part, Ss can improve their reading ability, learn more about how to describe a person using different words and summarize the key information in a reading passage. Meanwhile, the Ss can practise the Ss’ speaking and writing ability. As we all know, reading belongs to the input during the process of the language learning. The input has a great effect on output, such as speaking and writing.Therefore, this lesson is in the important position of this module. If the Ss can master it well, it will be helpful for them to learn the rest of this module. Then let me have an analysis of my students. Part 2 Something about the Ss The Ss have known something about the qualities of being a good teacher. They are lacking in vocabulary. They don’t often use English to express themselves and communicate with others. Some Ss are not active in the class because they are afraid of making mistakes. Part 3 Teaching Aims According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus (新课程标准和教学大纲), and my students condition ,after studying the teaching material, I set the teaching aims as follows: 1.Knowledge objects The Ss can master these important words and phrases . 2.Ability objects (1 To help Ss use these new words and phrases in theiy daily life. (2)Enable Ss to improve the
