Sweden#39;s development and mode of distance education
Abstract This paper describes the background of the Swedish long-distance education and the environment. With the whole world change, distance education goals, strategies and sources of 100 students in the course of many years of practice, fundamental changes have taken place in the new policy, theory and technology for distance education has added new opportunities and new participants. Today, the use of digital information of the learners can be anywhere, through mobile phones and computers to connect to the Internet to obtain information, which gives educational institutions put forward new requirements: flexibility, update, fit, fast and in order to attract students of both pleasure. At the same time, educational institutions, another challenge is how to use the advantages of new technologies, develop new teaching theory, encourage creativity, critical thinking, to learn both to resist and fight against deceptive learning behavior. With regard to education and learning, with the characteristics of the times is the text, images, sounds, photos and movies such as general “copy and paste” technology, these technologies on the one hand can be a constructive and developmental approach to be used, but also may be used illegal, deceptive and destructive use. This will be top-down and inside and outside the way to discuss the development of distance education in Sweden with the Swedish relationship between political objectives and policies.
