《儿子与情人》中保罗的悲剧人生及其原因研究 摘要：劳伦斯是二十世纪英国文学史上最伟大的小说家之一。作为来自英国普通劳动阶级家庭的作家，其天赋在于他对人类深刻而敏锐的体察。本文将以劳伦斯的小说《儿子与情人》为研究对象，着重分析主人公保罗的悲剧命运以及导致悲剧命运的原因.本文将分为五个部分，第一部分是基本的介绍，介绍作者劳伦斯以及小说《儿子与情人》；第二部分是分析保罗的人生悲剧第三部分原因，保罗的悲剧体现在为了她的母亲，他伤害了和另外两个女人的感情，他和她母亲以及他和另外两个女人之间的关系都是扭曲的，这一部分是由于人物扭曲的性格，也是由于他父母扭曲的关系，他母亲扭曲的母爱，还有就是维多利亚时期的工业时代的社会背景从思想和身体上扭曲了当时的人们；第四部分就是小说《儿子与情人》对我们现在社会的启示，对我们个人有如何启示以及对我们社会又有怎么的启示；最后一部分将总结全文的研究。 关键词：《儿子与情人》；保罗；悲剧  Analysis of Paul morel’s Tragedy and Reasons in Son and Lovers Abstract As one of the tgoieth century’ most illustrious novelists, Lawrence takes up a significant force in modern fiction, both for his artistic work and his innovative vision. Coming from a poor labor-class family, Lawrence is gifted in observing human nature. This paper will lay emphasis on the analysis of the protagonist Paul’ tragudy as well as the reasons causing his tragedy in Lawrence’ novel Sons and Lovers. This paper is made up of five chapters. The first chapter will generize the basic introduction, which includes the writer Lawrence as well as the novel Sons and Lovers; the second chapter will pay attention to the detailed analysis of Paul’tragedy reflected in the novel and the third part is the reasons. Paul’s tradegy is mainly reflected in that for the sake of his mother, he chooses to deny the physical union with Miriam and Clara l. Both of these two kind of relationships are abnormal which to a great extent accredits to the abnormal personality of these characters.And there are two primary reasons render Paul’s tragedy, one is his family factors which consists of the unhealthy relationship between his father and mother together with his mother’s abnormal love for sons;the other one is social factors, the social background of this novel is Victoria Age when the industrialization is booming which distorts the human beings physically and mentally; the fourth part will abstract the lessons what we can learn from in accordance with the tragedy mirrored in this novel, there is no denial tha
