M ethods　Progno tic factor of tom ach cancer were analy zed by Cox m ultivariate regre ion m odel ba ed on clinical data of 256 1 tom ach cancer ca e who underw ent urg ical treatm ent from 1964 to 2004 at Sun Y a-t en Un iver ity C ancer Center. Surv ival rate were calcu lated by life tab lemethod. Results　Ga trectomy w a performed for 1950 ca e w ith re ectab ility of 76.1%, am ongw hich there were 1192 ca e of cu rative re ection (46.5%)and 758 ca e of non-curative re ection (29.6%). The other 6 11 ca e of palliative operation included bypa procedure and laparotomy. Operativem ortality of all ca e w a 0.8% and morbidity wa 5.1%. For all
