见面打招呼是必不可少的，中国人见了面一般会问“吃了没”、“干嘛去”。而这些在我们看来的客套话，在西方人眼里他就会这样理解“你要请我吃饭”“你找我有事”。正因为如此，他们见面不谈这些，而作为寒暄就谈一下天气了。西方人喜欢谈论天气 是因为它从来不会冒犯谁。 关于天气的英语对话: A: It looks like its going to be sunny. 今天看来像是个晴天。 B: Yes, its much better than yesterday. 是的，比昨天好多了。 A: It seems to be clearing up. 看来天要放晴了。 B: Its such a nice change. 真实令人高兴的转变。 A: I think it’s going to be a nice day. 我想今天会是一个好天。 B: It’s certainly a big improvement over yesterday. 肯定比昨天大有好转。 A: It seems to be clearing up. 看来天要放晴了。 B: Its such a nice change. 真实令人高兴的转变。 How to express weather? sunny (阳光普照的) nice (宜人的) rainy (多雨的) damp(潮湿的) cloudy (多云的) beautiful(美好的) windy (多风的) wintery(冬天的，阴冷的) muggy(湿热的) foggy (多雾的) Its a wet day. 下雨天。 Its cloudy. 多云。 Its windy. 风很大。 Its foggy. 雾很浓。 Its an awful day. 天气很差。 Its a nice day. 天气很好。 Its a muggy day. 天气真闷热 1.询问天气情况的常用套语： How’s the weather today？ 今天天气怎样？ What’s the weather like today？ 今天天气怎样？ How’s the weather tomorrow？ 明天天气怎样？ What was the weather like yesterday？ 昨天天气怎样？ What will the weather be like tomorrow？ 明天天气怎样？ Is the weather always like this？ 天气老是这样吗？ 2. 谈论天气变化的常用套语： It looks like rain [raining]. 看来要下雨了。 It looks as if it’s going to rain. 像要下雨了。 It’s going to rain. 要下雨了。 It’s beginning to rain. 开始下雨了。 It’s clearing up. 天放晴了。  It’s going to be fine tomorrow. 明天将是个晴天。 3.评论天气的常用套语 : Lovely day [weather]， isn’t it？ 天气真好，是吗？ Nice and warm today， isn’t it？ 今天挺暖和的，是吗？ Rather cold today， isn’t？ 今天很冷，是吗？ Terrible weather， isn’t it？ 天气真糟，是吗？ Pretty warm， isn‘t it？ 挺暖和的，是吗？ It’s much colder than （it was） yesterday. 今天比昨天冷多了。 It’s rather windy today. 今天风很大。 What a lovely day！ 天气真好。 What fine weather we’re having！ 天气真好。 How to begin a talk with an American ?
