The necessity and possibility of the park of the mountainous cities of the karst region were explored. The results showed that,from the perspective of both urban development and social development,establishment of mountain park of green resources is the only way for a sustainable developmentofurbanareasinkarstregions.Scientificevaluationsystemandreasonableplanninganddesignis theessentialfactorforapossiblemountainparkofgreenspaceresources.Mountainparkofgreenresourcesisasolidfoun- dation for the sustainable construction of mountain cities.
