What was going through your mind as you were going through that negativity? Was your mind? Or was it paralyzed, unable to think?Think about the last time you felt a negative emotion, such as stress, anger, or frustration. What are you thinking when youre in that negativity? Is it full of confused thoughts? Or is it paralyzed, unable to think?The next time you find yourself in The middle of a very stressful time, or you feel angry or frustrated, stop. Yes, that s right, stop. Whatever you r e doing, stop and sit for one minute. While you r e sitting there, completely immerse yourself in The negative emotion.The next time you find yourself in a very stressful situation, or when you feel angry or frustrated, stop. Yes, yes, stop. Whatever youre doing, stop and sit for one minute. When you sit, let yourself completely immerse yourself in the negative emotion.Allow that emotion to consume you. Allow yourself one minute to truly feel that emotion. Dont cheat yourself here.Let that negativity engulf you and give yourself a minute to truly feel that emotion, dont cheat yourself. Spend a whole minute -- but only one minute -- to feel that emotion and do nothing else.When the minute is over, ask yourself, Am I wiling to keep holding on to this negative emotion as I go through the rest of the day?At the end of the minute, ask yourself, do I want to continue this negative emotion for the rest of the day?Once youve allowed yourself to be totally immersed in the emotion and really feel it, you will be surprised to find that the emotion is rather quickly.Once you allow yourself to fully immerse yourself in that emotion and really appreciate it, you will be amazed at how quickly that emotion disappears.If you feel you need to hold on to the emotion for a little longer, that is OK.
