安全气囊系统的检修 Section 2 maintenance of airbag system First, check the safety rules of airbag The inspection, installation and maintenance work must be done by professionals. Test lamps, voltmeters and ohms are not available for inspection. The airbag can only be inspected with V.A.G. 1551/1552 after installation. When inspecting airbags, they must be disconnected from the battery. Dont wait until you disconnect the battery. When the airbag is connected to the power supply, there is no one in the car. The airbag must be installed immediately after it is removed from the conveyance. If the work is to be suspended, the airbag should be put back into the conveyance. Do not place airbags in unattended areas. When the airbag is opened, the cushioned surface should be up. Airbags must not be opened and repaired. New parts must be used. The airbags that have fallen on hard ground or damaged are not available. In order to replace airbags, the following provisions shall be observed: Remove the old airbags and place them on the top. Remove the new airbag from the conveyance and place the cushion face up. The old airbags were loaded into the conveyance. The new airbag was loaded into the car. The airbag has a certain life span (see the sticker on the B column). If you replace airbags, remove the new TAB and attach it to the old label. Every 14 years you have to replace airbags and sticker labels. If there is no label on the B column of the car, the replacement airbag should be indicated in the maintenance manual.
