This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution International License (CC BY). /licenses/by/4.0/ Abstract A growing number of people pay more attention to an important issue of human’s spiritual life and psychological health against the current background of rapid development of economy, politics and culture of our country. The rejection sensitivity is one of the variables that influence human’s mental health and quality of life. A systematic study for rejection sensitivity is an important means for the researchers to fully understand and control human’s mental health and the key point to provide corresponding therapy strategies. Based on the comprehensive review of the research courses of rejection sensitivity in this field, this article concludes and organizes the definition, de- velopment of measuring tools, theoretical support and separately discusses the antecedent and functions of the rejection sensitivity. Besides, the hot topics and the future development tendency of rejection sensitivity research and suggestions are expected in this paper.
