These isolators, such as KFD0-RO- Ex2, are also used for remote reset and calibration applications. Pepperl+Fuchs strain gauges and solenoid drivers connect with discrete output circuitry to separate hazardous and safe areas and energize the load. In addition, a switch can be used to energize the isolator from a separately powered source.
