5 2.基数词的复数形式 基数词一般是单数。但下列情况用复数。 与of短语连用，表示概数（不能与具体数字联用） e.g. Hundreds of people; scores of people 许多人 表示一排或一组的词组里 e.g. They arrived in twos and threes。他们三三两两地到达了。 表示“几十岁”或年代：in one’s/the +复数数词 e.g. in his twenties (21-29) in the 1990s/1990s 在20世纪90年代(即1990-1999年) 乘法运算的一种表示法 e.g. 3X 5=15 Three fives is/are fifteen. * When was he born?
