( Sw itzerland) has developed and patented the compact, new ly TSP-20 system. Which is a tunnel seismic prediction equipment. It was specially designed for tunnel geologic advanced predic- tion. The TSP-20 system is excellent intelligent in data acquisit ion, processing and evaluation.This system can predict at least l00m in ahead of the tunnel face w here the kinds, locations and sizes of geologic blocks, and evaluate rock me- chanical parameters. For this reason, it can confirm the evidence for reasonable timbering parameters, and ensure the quality and safety in tunnel operations.
