The Prime Minister said he restricts the time his three children can spend catching up on their favourite shows or playing computer games. While busy running the country, Mr. Cameron has introduced tough rules on his childrens use of technology, banning mobile phones and limiting access to the familys iPad. He has revealed that there is a “no-screen” period on kids Nancy, 11, Elwen, nine, and five-year-old Florence. “Telly is quite carefully restricted,” he told The Sun on Sunday. He also tries to control his childrens use of the internet, revealing he worries when any of his three children “grab hold of the iPad” because they risk seeing harmful pictures. The revelation comes as a new study lays bare the impact watching TV can have on teenagers. The University of Cambridge found that just one extra hour spent in front of a screen means children could get worse GCSE results. Watching television, playing games of surfing the internet could lead to exam results falling by up to two grades. In an interview with the Sunday Telegraph today, Mr Cameron said that having his children living with him in Number 10 helps to keep him “sane”. And he revealed the moment that he returned to their Downing Street flat after his surprise general election victory. The Prime Minister said: “Towards the end of the election they were all beginning to wonder, What does the future hold? So that morning when I got back after my count I got in the car, went to central office, gave a speech, went home and they were all having breakfast. I walked in and there was a massive group hug from all the children and that was a lovely moment.
