It must be taken into account for teachers to improve the students’ capacity to meet the needs of the society. Case methods of teaching for GIS further development were presented in this paper. The features, implementation steps and ideas of realization were described based on a project case. Practice proved that it can improve the students’ GIS further development in a limited period of time.
