Traffic Performance Analysis of Network with Unreliable Components

Abstract : The cu ent esea ches on t affic pe fo mance a e commonly unde gone by using netwo k s state method, that we cal
culate the pe fo mance index of each state of netwo k and then obtain the mean value of pe fo mance, by using the state p obability.
This pape discusses the effect of components eliability on components pe fo mance, and p esents an app oach, named by compo
nents state method, which is based on the pe fo mance of components un eliability. It can use the cu ent pe fo mance analysis
method of netwo k with eliable components, and meantime can even analyze the b eaking t affic because of components failu e, which
can be used to analyze the pe fo mance of selfhealing netwo k.
