Abstract: There are 1125 species( including varieties and forms) of 529 genera in 167 families. Among 167 families, 81fam-
ilies belong to tropic areal-t pes, accounting for 63. 78% intotal(excluding cosmopolitans) ; 46 families show a temperate are-
a-l t pe,with 36.22% of the total. At the level of families,the tropic aera-l t pe holds a dominant position. The genera can be
divided into 14 areal-t pes and forms, inwhich the Tropic one accounts for 47. 80% in totalw ith 228 genera. The pantropic
which is the dominant floristic element in this medicinal seed flora has 108 genera accounting for 22. 85% in total and 53.
