The detail re-description is given. A key to male of Cladotanytarsus from China is presented. During our systematic study on the genus Tanytarsus from China, we found the same species from Fujian province, China. Compared with the generic character between Cladotanytarsus and Tanytarsus by Ekrem (1999) and Cranston et al (1989), the characters of the examined specimen fits to the genus Cladotanytarsus such as eyes without dorsomedian elongation; gonostylus short; digitus long, projecting past median margin of superior volsella, broad anal point, with spines between well developed crests and wing setae restricted in apex.
