Abstract! Objective To assess the value of color Doppler sonographic
characteristics and ultrasoundguided needle biopsy (USGB) on diagnosis of breast
cancer w ith liver metastasis( BCLM ). M ethod s One hundred and five patients
suspected to be suffering from breast cancer w ith liver metastasis were examined by
color Doppler sonography andUSGB, the results were then analyzed and evaluated.
R esu lts The sonographic features of BCLM were solid nodules or tumor. Most of
them were hypoechoic( 91 cases, 86. 7% ). Most tumors less than 3 cm show regular

shape, welldefinedmargins and even echoes. On the other hand, most tumorsmore
than 3 cm show irregular shape, indistinctmargins and uneven echoes. The blood flow
signalswas detected by CDFI in 56 cases(53. 3% ). A total of 94
