MYSQL数据库中的全文检索 By 3.23.23, MySQL started to support full-text indexing and search. The full-text index is a FULLTEXT type index in MySQL. The FULLTEXT INDEX is used for the MyISAM TABLE, which can be created on the CHAR, VARCHAR, or TEXT column after CREATE TABLE or later using ALTER TABLE or CREATE INDEX. For large database, and load the data into the one without the FULLTEXT indexing TABLE, and then use the ALTER TABLE (or the CREATE INDEX) to CREATE an INDEX, it will be very fast. Loading the data into a table that already has a FULLTEXT index will be very slow. The full-text search is done through the MATCH () function.
