Co. , Guangzhou City , 510075) [ Abstract] 　The function of the deaerators in power plant is to remove the oxygen containing in the water to prevent the metal components of the boiler and turbine systems from excessively oxidized corrosion under high temperature. At the early age the pow er plant was provided with disk - washing deaerators , which has strict requirements for water intake temperature and load. Also its deaeration is relatively poor and the small holes on the disk were easily to be blocked. Then the spray type deaerators are used with better deaeration than the disk type. But it can only remove 80 %～90 % oxygen dissolving in the water. The newly developed ro tary diaphragm deaerator has enhanced the process of heat transfer , driving and medium transition and its diaphragm structure en sures the successful
