Fo r the food secu rity, the agricu lture of Shandong developed fast in recent years. H ow ever, the input of fertilizer, pestic ide and other agr icu ltura l m aterialw as very large, but the ratio of ut ilization w as re la tive low er. T he livestock and pou ltry breeding industry developed rap idly, but the treatm ent facilities for anmi al m anure w ere seriously lack. T he rura l urbanization deve loped rap id ly and re lative low er ratio of dom estic w aste and sew age treatm en,t and so on. A ll of above reasons m ade the problem of agricu ltura l nonpo int source po llution in Shandong becam e m ore and m ore serious. Based on the researches and invest igations, the presen t situa tion and causing reason of Shandong prov ince ag ricultura l nonpo int source pollution w ere summ arized and analyzed. Som e prevention and cure counterm easures w ere put forw ard to the sustainab le deve lopm ent of Shandong prov ince for reference.
