The meaning of interactive teaching method
The interactive approach is a new method of teaching in the early 1970s. It focuses on language functions, and focuses on cultivating communication skills, also known as communication law, or function -- the idea method. It emphasizes that language teaching must start with students as the center, the teacher should provide the true sense of language materials, create true natural language environment, so that the students in meaningful learning. The teaching process revolves around the specific tasks of language. The interactive teaching method absorbs the advantages of other schools of teaching and forms its own advantages.
Interactive teaching was first proposed by palincsar (1982), and then further research and development (plincsarbrown, 1984; palincsar, 1986; brownpalincsar, 1989). It was originally a kind of scaffolding instruction (scaffolding) ideology based teaching mode to train the students reading strategies, today we also use it to the college English teaching practice.
The theoretical basis of interactive teaching
The basic principles of interactive teaching method with the characteristics of the development of modern foreign language teaching theory in essence is consistent, this is mainly determined by the theoretical basis of communicative approach.
