To discuss the draft angle
Design points of different materials:
ABS
Generally applied, the edge 0.5 degrees to 1 degrees is enough. Sometimes the die angle is close to zero because the polishing line is the same as the die out. A textured profile requires an increase of 1 degrees of die angle per deep 0.025mm (0.001 in). The correct die angle can be obtained from the etch supplier.
LCP
Because the liquid crystal copolymers had high modulus and low ductility, design should be inverted to avoid. In all the ribs, walls, pillars and other protruding place above all, there should be a minimum 0.2-0.5 degrees of die angle. If the wall is relatively deep, or there is no polished surface and corrosion pattern, there is an additional 0.5-1.5 degrees above.
PBT
If the parts have a good surface finish, they require a minimum 1/2 degree of ejection angle. For etching treated surfaces, each additional 0.03mm (0.001 in) depth requires an increase of 1 degrees of ejection angle.
PC
The ejection angle is on either side of the component or raised, including the upper die and the lower die. The surface of the general brilliance is adequate from 1.5 to 2 degrees, but the etched surface requires additional release angles, with an increase of 1 degrees of release angle at a depth of 0.25mm (0.001 in).
PET
The rib, the pillar, the side wall, the runner wall and so on of the plastic product are enough to reach 0.5 degrees as the demoulding angle.
PS
0.5 degrees of ejection angle is extremely fine, 1 degrees of release angle is the standard method, too small release angle will make the parts difficult to separate from the cavity. In any case, any ejection angle is better than no angle. If the parts have pitting, such as the depth of the leather pattern, the depth of 0.025mm will be more than 1 degrees with the ejection angle.
